What We Do It With
When in Trinidad, we select all of our steel drums from the country's most accomplished tuners.
Here in Los Angeles, steel drums of ours are maintained and tuned by Mr. David Beery.

drums is in front of us.

We play from a pan soloist to a seven-piece band. In small groups, we may use backing tracks (to fill in bass
and drum parts). In bigger venues where the music is more featured, it is advisable to hire a larger band
with live musicians playing these rhythm and bass parts.
A multitude of combinations are available for a steel drum band.

On the set of "Outer Spaces," a surprise redecorating show for
private yards, produced by Screen Door Entertainment. This
particular backyard was redone in a Caribbean theme and we
were part of the reveal at the end of the show. Original air date
was May 7, 2005.

appropriate venues such as the beach, wedding ceremonies, etc:

Wedding Ceremonies: Usually, we perform acoustically (no background tracks), with 1-4 musicians. The music
can be of the Caribbean or Classical style, or a combination of both. The instrumentation can be all steel drums or steel drums
and marimba (warm sounding, wooden mallet instrument).
