Being that I'm a general percussionist, I've arranged my soundclips by instrument categories. Some of these recordings were made at live
performances. They are all in demo format - email me for a demo CD.

Xylophone
Sonata For Xylophone and Piano, 4th Mvmt (Bruce
Levine) - Avante Garde style, highly acrobatic piece,
utilizing complex polyrhythms, rapid multi-octave leaps
interwoven into the piano part. And it still manages to
sound like a "real" melody. This was a ton of fun to perform.
I had the privilege of premiering this work.
Triplets (George Green) - with marimba quartet
accompaniment and vintage drumset.
Timpani
Canto (Elliott Carter) - concocted from the closed buzz
roll, snare drum sticks, and a profuse amount of pedal
work - the glissandi and phrasing is what makes this piece
sing.
March (Elliott Carter) - the title is descriptive to its style;
listen for the changes in timbre, as the piece requires the
repeated flipping back and forth of the mallets from soft
head to handle, often with little time to spare.
"World" Percussion
Congas
(Open solo) - one of my favorite instruments in hand drumming
and Latin percussion.
Ghatam
Adi Talam - also includes kanjira, mridangam, and tal cymbals.
Pan/ Steel drums
Pan in A Minor (Lord Kitchener) - 8- piece steel drum band, all
acoustic. I'm playing tenor pan (the melody). This demo is a small
representation of the piece, as the arrangement is about 9
minutes in length. The piece specifically is one of the more
well-known in Trinidad and the world pan community.
Sounds
Snare Drum
Moby Dick (John Pratt) - Thorough in stroke and roll
notation, this work is found in the book "Rudimental Solos
for Accomplished Drummers." Quick and relentless, it's one
to warm-up for before attempting.
